does anyone have a list anywhere of what products in our home can be used for techniq
I went to an art stamp show the other day.and I saw a woman doing some stamping techniques.she had all kinds of items right from her home.
I was just wondering if anyone has a list of stamping techniques with items used from home or that you can buy at your local grocery store.since these are things we can all pick up when we go do our regular shopping.
could you please list the house hold product and give a link to how to use this as a stamping technique.

I don't have a "list" but I am having a club meeting tonight and our theme is "household items." We'll be using bleach, dryer sheets, baby wipes, drywall tape, paint chips and formica samples from the local hardware store.
A few other products that come to mind are shaving cream, window screen, fishing line, OxyClean, sand paper, etc. The list goes on and on and on.
I'll search to see if I can locate an actual list. If I have any luck, I'll post it here.
How do you use Oxyclean? ...like bleach? And fishing line? ...like hemp? I ask because my mother used to use string dropped in tempra paint, then placed between a folded sheet of construction paper, as an art project for her students. I'm sure your kids have brought these home.
I know you can also use bubble wrap for a bee hive background.
finger nail polish,and remover.
baby oil.
cooking oil
hairspray mixed with pearlex.for a shimmery look.
rubbing alcohol.
these are some of the household items I remember seeing a woman have at a recent stamp show.I didn't however see her use all of them so I'm not sure what she did do with them, maybe someone else knows how to use these in stamping techniques.

I remember finding a list on the internet some time ago that was called something like "The Cheapskate Rubber Stamper". I'm not so sure of the name or where I found it...I'll try to locate it again. It had LOTS of stuff like that on it.
