Default Creative ways to use ribbon

Hello fellow stampaholics! Are there any ribbonaholics out there??? I have a group of customers (that spend lots of money) who are asking for some new and creative ways to use their SU ribbon. I have a few ideas but was looking for more. Does anyone out there have any ideas or can you point me in the right direction of where to find some?
I know there are alot of creative ladies on this site so please reply!
Happy Stampin', Jennifer :-)

I have yet to try this, but I love the wire made into a buckle with grosgrain. I have bought the buckles, but not made my own. (Beate, I too am wire challenged!) There's a great card in the gallery using the new Tag Time set. Also, I have found that making a small knot ribbon with scraps and then adhering with glue dots is great. But it seems my favorite thing to do with ribbon is collect it

I've been taking my white grossgrain and applying classic ink with a makeup sponge to get more colors (and a more exact match) than SU sells. It's nice to have a closely matching ribbon for my project!

Default heat ribbon, ragged grosgrain

I like the affect of heating the wide organdy with a heat gun. It scrunches up.

I also like slitting grosgrain in half, and peeling out a few strings to give it a ragged look.

I have a friend that makes beautiful ribbon flowers. There are a ton of books out to tell you how to make sunflowers, violets, roses, etc. from organdy and grosgrain. That might be something to pique their curiosity.

HTH a little,

Have you stamped on the grosgrain ribbon? It is gorgeous and really ties your project together. Try it, you'll like it.
