Default Crayon Resist

Can someone provide me with guidence on how to use the crayon resist techinque? I have used it before and for the life of me can't figure out how to do it again.

Step by step details are under "resources" But i've always done it with Shiny cardstock, and color with white then ink over it.

Stamp your image on glossy cs. Let dry. Using a light-colored or white crayon, color in the areas you want to remain white/highlighted. Brayer or sponge over the whole image and rest of glossy c/s. You can use 1 or more colors. Buff with a tissue until shiny and all the crayon residue is gone.


You can use any color of ink to stamp the original image, just use something darker than the background color will be. You can also use Versamark if you want, it's just a little harder to see where to color.
