Default Cool technique - acetate/glitter variation

I was getting all prepared for Feb VSN by printing off a selection of photos and then decided to try something new using some of the other shopping list supplies. I printied one of the photos on acetate instead of paper. I ran it through the Xyron, sprinkled with dazzling diamonds glitter and mounted on non-SU shiny silver cardstock. It it is beautifully and subtly sparkly IRL.
I then did another with a different color glitter and cardstock. Very effective technique - lovely results.

Here is the first one I did.

Unfortunately it's hard to see the details of the flowers and glittery effect in the scan. Great fun and lovely results IRL.

Very pretty effect! Did you apply the glitter to the front or the back of the image? TFS.

I ran the image thru the xyron right way up so that the sticky side (and glitter) were applied 'under' the image.

Really pretty! Sort of like the cold laminate technique but without all the mess, lol! I saw your card last night and was struck by how much it reminded me of Impressionistic paintings. You know the Rembrandt with the little girl in a garden? Kinda reminded me of that...
