Adhering dryer sheets

I stamped some snowflake OSW's and added spray glue and glitter before applying a dryer sheet over it. There are spots on the dryer sheet that just done seem to be adhering. What am I overlooking? I did try some additional spray, but still some spots don't seem to be sitcking. I know it must be obvious, but I'm just not getting it.

I haven't tried this tech. before but I have used a spray adhesive. How about when you spray the glue to the back of your dryer sheet let it sit for a minute or so before adhering it to your card front.
Hope this helps, Fran

Yes, Gayla, that's what I'm shooting for. (But I have to get it to stick.) Shhhhhhh!

I've done this with just my regular adhesive and it seemed to be okay. I had to go aroudn the edges a few times, but it eventually stuck. I think my adheseive is that Tombo stuff. Hope tha thelps. They are somewhat fragile and come off easier than other stuff, but the tombo worked okay. I'd like to see your card when you are done so give us the link!!!

I had luck with spraying the adhesive on my image, waiting a few seconds, and then adhering the sheet. Lastly I sprinkled the glitter on. That worked really well for me. Maybe the glitter before the dryer sheet is taking some of the adhesive away from the sheet? Just a thought.
