When I make window cards, I do make a 'frame' for the inside. I use the same punch (or cutout shape) inside the 'framing' cardstock, and just make the frame whatever size seems right at the time. If there are contrasting colors on the card, you can make the exterior frame and the interior frame to contrast with the main card if you like. It does give a finished look inside. Happily, there doesn't seem to be a wrong way vs. a right way. Adding dimension to the outside frame is also fun! Sticky backed fun foam works, as well as double-sided foam mounting tape! Have fun trying them out!
