Default 2005 Calendar Bookmark Template

Going to post the template here for all so I don't have to send it to everyone individually.

You'll note there are 4 to a page.

When you print them, feed each piece of cardstock individually to be safe.

The margins on each are not exactly the same, close but not the same. You'll need to tweak your cutting intervals to get the same size calendar, especially for the first and last on the page.

I'd love to hear how everyone is planning on using this bookmark... I've already heard one good idea. (giving one to a potential hostess with their workshop date highlighted)

Happy to Help!
Michelle

edit... well not sure why it's not working now... even tried reattaching and that didn't work either... I don't mind emails if you really want the template... happy to help.

THANK YOU you for sharing with us Michelle! Your hard work is very appreciated!!

I really like your idea about giving them to a hostess with a highlighted date on them. I was thinking of using them as part of my Hostess Thank you gift package, to my Dec Hostesses. I of course will stamp them up really cute and have all my info on them.

Thanks again!
Happy Stampin' Hugs,
Gilly

Wonderful idea--a bookmark and a calendar in one (saw it in the gallery)!

I'm having difficulty opening this attachment--it might be this computer doesn't have the right program, but if it's possible, I'd like to try this project.

You do need to have adobe acrobat reader on your computer in order to open the file.

You can get it free from www.adobe.com if you need it.

I made it using Wordperfect. I can do just about anything with Wordperfect when I have an idea what I want the final product to look like. The calendars each are tables inside columns and the page is subdivided into four sections for each one.

Happy to Share.

I also had another cool idea for this thing. I'll bet it would work in those plastic stands people use for their name on their desk. I need to go buy one to test it...

Default 2005 calendar bookmark

I'm mounting these on many different colored CS and adding a ribbon on the top. Oh yes, and a little stamp of some sort under the 2005. Will give them to friends and sell them at my craft show next week. THANKS!

Thanks to Michelle's extra help last night I was able to download the calendar!

I reduced the size of the calendar by telling my printer I was using "executive" size paper (7 something inches by 10 something inches), which created calendars just a bit smaller that I can slide into some vinyl bookmark sleeves. . . haven't figured out what else to do with them yet, but, as you-all probably have notice, vertical greetings and tall and narrow are pretty good fits. . .

Thanks again to Stampin' Patriot!

Having played with the calendar as it prints out, I'm wondering if it would be possible to rotate the months so that they are right side up when the bookmark is held vertically (versus horizontally)--does that make sense? Is it possible for me to modify the WordPerfect document after I download it? I'll re-post after I've given it a try. . .

Ha... never even thought about trying that...

I just tried to add that file here but it doesn't like it. If someone wants it, please PM me and I will forward it to you. Be sure your regular email address is included since this system won't allow .wpd files...

Meanwhile I'll play with the file too when I get a moment...

The link is at the bottom of the orginal post on this thread. It's a PDF file. You need adobe acrobat reader to open the file. You can get it free at www.adobe.com

Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to change the calendar to a vertical orientation yet... I will try to work on it soon.

Happy Stamping!

I have always admired these. I have been trying to figure out what to take with as my sanity keeper for a 4 hour car trip and a 3 day stay at the in-laws. This is great that this thread popped up again! I now have a great on the go project. I probably work more in the car on my projects then at home. I am not a good passanger. Thanks for all the work!

Another very kind person told me to do this in order to "see" the file. Right click on the link and then click on "save as". This will put the file on your desktop so that you can open it from there. This has always worked for me. Good luck!!
