wondering

What is the 'sandwich" order for using SU texture plates with the cuttlebug? Please e mail me at [email protected]

I would like to know this too! I tried A plate, with texture plate, cardstock and then plumber's gasket, (I think, or maybe the B plate, too), and did NOT get a good impression at all. I also added one shim, but that didn't help either.

I use A plate, texture plate, cardstock, silicone mat (silicone baking sheet cut up), cardstock shims (depends on your machine), B plate. The trick to getting a good deep impression is to mist your cardstock with water or water/rubbing alcohol mixture. I use the little mini misters with rubbing alcohol and water and mist it before running it through and I've had great results. I find the Fiskars give better/deeper impressions than the Sizzix ones (Sizzix also makes the plates for SU). Here's a picture of one card I did using a Fiskars texture plate:http://images.splitcoaststampers.com...?ts=1281599123

Thanks for the information! I thought I did it this way, even to misting the paper, but I'm going to have to try again!
Thanks,
