Witches Shoe

Does anyone have a template for this AWESOME shoe?

http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...05607?cat=7178

pandessa 08-21-2007 07:51 AM

OH MY! Me to! I collect witches! I abso-LUTELY love this!

cbet 08-21-2007 08:06 AM

That template was published in the October 2006 issue of PaperCrafts magazine - you might be able to find a copy at your local library (I know ours has it)

Otherwise, here's a link to a shoe template in the Templates forum - it's not exactly the same but could be tweaked:

Witch Shoe

Somebody please find the instructions for this shoe! I have used my whole lunch hour trying to find this! Aaarrrgh!

Coluzzel has a shoe template that, going off of my memory and looking at this picture, would be a really close substitute. I can't find a link right now, but if you google coluzzel, you should be able to find it.

I don't remember where I got this one from... but you could cut off the butterfly to get the basic shoe. You'll have to resize it to your liking, since I didn't save the link - just the picture.

The issue was in the magazine filr right under my desk the whole time. I scanned the image, you might have to make adjustments.

Hi girls - I am so thrilled that you are all excited about the shoe template that I designed that was showcased in the October 2006 Paper Crafts. I love designing templates and so you will find another of my designs - a cowboy boot - in this Spring's issue of You Go Girl.

I have a huge favor to ask though - I think that the scan above is actually something that is not allowed to be posted on the internet being that it is a copyright issue of a magazine. I would hate to see anyone get in trouble and so what I will do is take my original and upload it to my blog as well as contact someone here at SCS and ask what the parameters are for uploading this type of template here on the site. I have to be honest I don't know what the proper procedure is for something that was published.

Please know that I am not trying to be "mean" - I am actually trying to help. So hopefully I can help figure this out and get back to you with proper information. Thank you for your patience and understanding. I hope to be able to provide you with the template now that the issue is no longer available.

EllenH 08-27-2007 03:04 PM

OK - email is sent to the powers that be here at SCS. Hang tight I'll be back with more information when I get this figured out :D

MochaLatte 08-27-2007 04:05 PM

I wasn't try to cause any problems, just trying to help. I thought this was an associated site and that there would be no conflict. I apologize if my actions were improper.

EllenH 08-27-2007 08:37 PM

Please no worries MochaLatte - I am happy to have it shared. I just want to be certain that we don't get in trouble being that the magazine is copyrighted I do believe. We will figure out a way to share it :D

Shanon 08-27-2007 08:38 PM

I hope it is allowed. It looks super cute Ellen. :)

Shanon 08-28-2007 11:00 AM

Any news?

EllenH 08-28-2007 11:11 AM

Not yet - sorry - still waiting :D

EllenH 08-28-2007 03:23 PM

OK - I've uploaded my original document to the template section as well as my blog, unfortunately it seems to be printing REALLY small in both places - I'm not certain what I've done wrong, but at least it's a start. Just enlarge both pieces the exact same amount and it should work for you. I'm looking forwards to seeing lots of fun shoes soon :D

wiggydl 08-28-2007 06:07 PM

this is awesome... thanks Ellen and thanks to babysignsmarisol for asking in the first place :-)

Thanks Elissa for posting those witches' shoes and to Ellen H. for doing that marvelous pattern! I made the crazy decision to try a clear Cinderella version of it. You can see it at:

Now I'm going to go take my valium.

Thanks again..it was fun!

creativetracks 10-09-2007 06:17 PM

well I made a regular witch's shoe (in my gallery) and loved it- it was so much fun- but I have to say Shadow Mill- LOVE THE CINDERELLA shoe.

smilie girl 10-09-2007 10:24 PM

Thanks Ellen for the marvellous design.
And I love the Cinderella Shoe too, Shadow Mill. Thanks for the warning about how tricky it is with the acetate.
I was wondering what other ideas/uses people have for the shoe.
Thanks everyone.
Smiles, Sandra:p

Lisa62 09-17-2008 03:49 AM

Why can't I print this out. It only gives me a part of the shoe. even if I cut the size down. I still don't get the other side the top portion printed out.

kchase 09-22-2008 07:09 PM

thanks!!
