I have a question - do you stamp on metallic papers with regular stamp pads or do you need to use staz-on?

I think blues and silver are really pretty. I have stamped on copper with dye ink and had no problems.

Made cards using Forest Foliage as the base, Copper next layer up and then Confetti cream upon which I stamped and embossed in copper the deer from Beautiful Season. Inside I stamped (no embossing) the saying from the set, along with a pinecone at the top. Think some copper cord would be nice, but didn't have any. Just might be THE Christmas card this year.
I have also layer Night of Navy and Silver - looks sharp together.

I love the look of the SU metallic papers...I have all 3 colors. I have yet to use any because I don't want to waste it! I will probably never use them, just take them out once in a while and look at them. (yes, I know I have a problem!)

They are very pretty for the holidays though and you can use classic ink with them.

I have all three and they work wonderfully with the classic pads.I used the silver with navy blue and baroque burgundy and it looks great. The gols works good with forest foliage and they are good if you don't have the gold embossing powder so I would recommend it for many uses as the paper is a good quality

I suffer from color combo deficit disorder. What other colors would you use with gold metallic paper?

Default metallic paper

A friend suggested- using creamy caramel as main color, with a strip of baroque burgundy. The image would be stamped on vanilla - embossed with copper and placed on copper background. As soon as my supplies come in I plan to make it and I'll post it. It sounded so perfect.
Thanks for all the ideas!!

Not Quite Navy, Copper, and Vanilla make a beautiful combo as well.
