Where to get key chains
I would like to buy some key chains and have a online site but am afraid the shipping would be more then the key chains. Do any of the stores have them? I tried Micheals and they said no. Help. Thanks

I found material in the hardware store under lamp repair parts. You buy chain and then the ends and put them together. Yeh

I did buy a baggie full of them at Michael's, very cheap. I can't remember exactly what department they were in but not where I expected them to be. It might have been near the arts or wood section. Sorry I'm not much help.

I've seen them in the lock home improvement department at walmart. You can find some in with the locks (key rings with muli colored pack even) and some with lighting (chains).

Thanks --I will try there.

Try the bead/jewelry making dept at M's. Not sure exactly what type of keychain you are looking for, but they do have a couple of different types. HL has them as well, again, in the beading area.

When I got mine at Michael's they were not in the bead dept.

I think we need to know the store better then the people that work there. They give you the deer in headlights look. Thanks for your help--can't wait to get there and check it out.

For real! I've called HL before to ask a question about something that I knew they had and they told me they didn't have it. I then told them the exact location and to go look and bring it back to the phone with them. Was that person ever surprized. The "duh factor" never ceases to amaze me! That and laziness.

Okay, I was at my Michael's today and looked again for the key chains. They were near the art section, and the sign above said "Stepping Stones" It was in with the mosaic stepping stones and the indian beads and suede lace. They are by Tandy and come in a package of twenty key chains for something like $2.50, hanging on a hook. It's a small package, about 2x2. Hope that helps you.
