Embossing Tool Question

I have a heat gun from when I used to make gift baskets and use shrink wrap film with heat gun to seal up gift baskets.

Would those of you used to embossing think I could use this heat gun on the low setting for embossing?

Not sure, but it probably can't hurt to try. My only thought is that the shrink wrap doesn't seem to require much heat to do it's thing (I know I've used by hari dryer for shrik wrap) but more heat is needed for embossing.

i use my husbands black and decker heat gun for embossing and it works just fine.

Mine is a regular guy tool heat gun and it works fine on the low setting.

Yeah, mine would be the "guy tool" type as we used professional shrink wrap that required the heat gun to do it's thing...a hair dryer wouldn't work on it. I was afraid the openeing would be too large or something. I'll give it a try and see if it works.;)
