Question What is the difference?

Hi I was just wondering what the difference is between gum arabic and lumiere. And can you use them both with pearl ex?

Thanks
Mel

Hi Mel!
Lumiere is an acrylic paint that has a gorgeous lustre to it. You can stamp with it, just cover the stamp with it and stamp away. It is also good to use on fabric. You can mix it with other acrylic paints. And yes if you want a bit more sparkle, you can mix it with Pearl-ex.

Gum arabic is a powder that you can mix with water into a thin paste, and you add what colour pearl-ex you like to the mix, and you can use the pearl-ex as a paint. If you use a little less water into the mixture, and let it dry to a hard cake you have made yourself a palette express, and if you use a wet brush it's almost like a watercolour cake exept with pearl-ex!

HTH!
