Watercoloring....
I've heard of people watercoloring using reinkers... how is this done?
I have a little plastic palette from the craft store and just put a couple of drops in the wells. Then, I either use a brush or aquapainter and color in with the ink. I like watercolor paper the best.
Couple of drops of the reinker, and a really wet paintbrush is how I do it. There is a tutorial on the site.
You can even place a drop or two in the lid of your ink pads and then watercolor from there. :) It's a variation of watercoloring by smushing your lid into your ink pad...
I was wondering the same thing. Do you know where the tutorial is? I think I am blind.
Hmm. I don't see one on watercoloring, per se... all the SCS tutorials are listed here: //www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/

sweetmissdaisy puts the drop of reinker on the upper lid of the same color pad and says that it says there and is useable for a very long time.
I LOVE watercoloring with the reinkers. As others have pointed out, I like to squeeze a few drops into the lid of the ink pad. That way when I'm done, if there is ink left, it just goes onto the ink pad with no additional clean up or waste.

The problem I seem to be having with putting a few drops in the lid is that my coloring is so dark. How do I lighten it up??
