Water Reflection Technique

Can anyone please direct me how to do the water reflection technique? I have seen it done on a few cards posted in the gallery, but I cannot find how to do it. Thank you.

Water Reflection Techique

I'm demonstrating that very technique on Tuesday. I am using Lovely as a Tree (my favorite stamp set) and stamping it on a window sheet in Black Stazon ink, then turning it over and stamping it again on the other side so it looks like a reflection. On white cardstock the same size, I'm coloring with pastels to place underneath and holding them together with brads. A beautiful card and really very easy.

Hi,

I did mine on vellum with dye inks. Same basic concept - stamp one side (let dry) flip over (positioner helps here) and stamp again. If you use a heavier vellum the reflection is much better (more realistic - kind of hazy) than the really thin vellum. Have fun!!

you can also use a shape stamp such as Great Shapes, to duplicate your image....or use a brayer
