Okay, I am going to try to explain the card that I saw and want to try. The stamp set used is Lovely as a Tree. You use the long stamp with the various trees on it. You stamp one in black right side up and then somehow stamp another set of trees to make it look like a reflection. Then I assume use chalks or water colors to make the three levels of water, earth and sky. I thought that a window sheet may be my answer but the black ink just smears off, even after drying over night. I wanted to make the card for my inlaws anniversay on Saturday. Any quick help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!
YES you can do this on a window sheet - BE SURE TO USE STAZON, stamp it, let it dry, flip it over and stamp on the other side, again let it dry.
You can also use a brayer to do this technique - there are many ways....Stamp your image on a big piece of rubber such as great shapes, or shape of things, then stamp under your 1st image. If you do a search of the forums, there's been many a discussion on this - Mirror Image or Reflection Technique.
On this one I used glossy cs and stamped the reverse image with my brayer in Going Gray, then used a sponge to apply the ink from the pad to get the green and blues.
Thanks for all of the help! I did a card using vellum paper with good results. I also used a window sheet. Also, I will try the brayer technique tomorrow. Thank you for all of the help!
