vis-a-vis on laminate

Just got my vis-a-vis pens (transparency pens) so that I could do a refrigerator write on - wipe off with Stamp Club on Sunday... And when I try to write on the Laminate the ink kind of beads up and gets very light..

Any ideas what I can do now... I bought the Xyron, laminate sheets, pens and thought this would an easy fun project for the Stamp Club... and I'm sure they will be disappointed in the pens unless I can figure out a way to make the ink stay until we are ready to wipe it off.

Thanks for any help with this.

Instead of the transparency markers, maybe you could try dry erase markers instead? They seem to write on more surfaces that the transparency markers... Just a thought.

Another idea is to use perm. vis-a-vis pens to write on the laminate. They will not "bubble" up, but you will need to use fingernail polish remover to take off the perm. ink.

vis-a-visa on laminate

I tried the dry erase marker and that works pretty well for the write on - wipe off aspect...
and I think I will try the Vis-a-Visa permanent suggestion... I thought that might be good for calendar days of the week...Put that on in permanent on the overlay (which is over the stamped laminate background) and then I could use the wipe off dry erase markers to fill in the calendar with our day to day appointments....

Thanks for the help ladies.
