Verdegris is a greenish color. Verdegris is what you get when copper weathers (like a mailbox or a birdhouse) and has been exposed to the elements. Hope that helps.

i actually found some cool verdigris embossing powder once. doesn't get used alot, but it is so neat for the right card...

I'm 99% sure SU carries verdigris embossing powder...I have some but didn't get it from SU.

Here's a card in my gallery using it (there are lots in the gallery; you can do a simple search for 'verdigris' and you should find a bunch, too!):

It's worth getting some - I love the effect!

I have the verdigris embossing powder from SU and really like it. I used at Christmas time on trees and most recently on the leaves from All Natural.

Love the look of your verdigris dragonfly. Beautiful.

I love the Verdigris EP! I was inspired by StamperSharon's beautiful card:

http://gallery.splitcoaststampers.co...hp?photo=67003.

I cased it to make similar cards using the Iris stamp from Botanical Gardens and the oak tree stamp from Lovely As a Tree. A stamper named PuppyPaws made a similar card with Art of the Orient.

If you search under Verdigris you'll find lots of beautiful stuff. HTH.

This is really pretty if used on trees and other foiliage. I have this EP, but it's not SU...but looks the same.

This might be a WOW factor at a workshop since it's got gold and green mixed in.

My vertigre embossing powder by Stamp-n Stuff came from Michael's a few years ago.

I have an older SU set called Wildflowers and it looks great to emboss the watering can with it. I haven't mastered the posting of a picture or I would.

Wow your dragonfly card gave me an idea! The embossing powder you used would be great with the "Pooling" technique, it could look like faux Turquoise stone for a masculine card.

I posted a question for information about this just yesterday. I thought it would be a great color for Fishy Friends. I was informed that verdigris EP is in the current SU catalog. I have not been able to find it at Hobby Lobby or Michael's, although different stores may stock some different items, I'm not sure.

Vertigris

Thank you for all the great ideas. I had some Antiguies Vertigris from
Ranger Industries in N. J.
