Using only part of a Nestie
How are people only cutting with part of a nestie? I love the look of the card below. Can someone help figure out how to accomplish it?

I looked through the Heartprints gallery and found this.
Look at item #3857 on this page: http://www.heartprints.net/gallery/nesties/page/4/ Looks like the same technique was used to cut with only part of the Nestie. |
Or you could position the top plate so the end of it is where you want the die to start cutting. I've done that with the top note die before.

You need to thread your cardstock through the inside of the Nestie - trim it to a width that will thread though the opening in the die, place your cardstock so that the cutting edge lies along the end of the strip and then roll through. Depending on what cutting machine you are using, you can reverse the direction of the rollers once you feel the die bite through the area you want to cut (you don't get the impression of the rest of the die on the remainder of the cardstock if you do that).

Thanks everyone for the help...I had never thought of only using part of the die to make the edge of the card different. I will definatly have to try this :)
