Default Help please, how do I cut Big Blossom stamp out of DP

Hi everyone, I just bought the retired Big Blossom stamp from a lovely SCS lady and would like to use it cut out of DP as I've seen so many beautiful examples of this technique in the galleries. As it's a solid stamp I can't use it on the right side of the patterned paper, so do I just stamp on the reverse or will the ink bleed through? Any help with this would be much appreciated. Thanks, Chris

If I understand you correctly, I think what people were doing is to stamp in Versamark or emboss the flower with clear EP on the right side, and then cut it out.

Does that help?

Ah! Thanks so much Angela, it makes sense to me now. I'll have to get the EP out and give this a try. Chris

This stamp is also great for "kissing" techniques. There are several variations so try them all to see which ones you like best. Ink up a large background stamp, lay it stamp side up on your table, gently place the Big Blossom stamp face down on the background stamp and press down evenly using both hands. Carefully pick up the Big Blossom stamp and then stamp it on your card stock. A variation of this is to do the reverse and ink up the Big Blossom first. Another variation is to ink up BB with one color and the background with another. If you don't have a large background, you can use a smaller patterned stamp and "kiss" it repeatedly to the BB stamp.

You can trace around it or stamp it on the back of the DP and then cut it out.
