Use a toothbrush
Have you ever used a toothbrush in cardmaking or other crafts?
For instance: 1. dip it in little amount of ink and rub along the bristles to get a background of tiny dots on your cardstock. 2. Its is a great thing to clean your stamps with.. specially the ones with details. Any other use? |
I have heard it used for faux wood technique but have never tried it.

I have a stamp that mimics that look. Much neater to use! I got tired of spattering me and everything around me!
Ever since I started stamping, I've kept 2 paint pads (they are rectagular soft fuzzy pads that fit onto a handle for painting) side by side in a plastic pencil case. I just wet them with water and a bit of stamp cleaner and wipe my stamps on those. It does a pretty good job! |
Usually only if I'm reeeeeeeally annoyed with my husband....

I haven't tried this yet, but you can use the toothbrush (stiff one) to bring up the paper to look like fur for this teddy bear... (Hoping this link works)
