Two Pocket card

Hi, I was asked to please post these instructions on this site for anyone wanting to make an easy 2 pocket card. Here is the card that the instructions are for.

My Version of the Two Pocket Card

Take a full 8 x 11 piece of card stock and hold it facing you in a landscape position. (across)

Fold it in half length wise. Be sure to have a nice crease in the paper.

Open it back up and fold in the bottom left corner to meet the middle crease and fold in the top right corner to meet the middle crease.

Now holding the paper in the portrait position with the left upper corner folded down, and the right lower corner folded up towards the middle, fold the paper in half, towards you. Now the one side of the left half will be folded inwards.

Now take that paper and fold it right to left.

Turn the card around and there it is. A pocket in the front and a pocket inside.

Have fun, hope you like it.

I must be doing something wrong. I end up with a card that has a pocket on the front and on the inside, but the pocket goes down to the bottom corner and then there is a cut-out section at the top left of the card. Has anyone else ended up with this? And did you figure out what you were doing wrong?

Never mind. I figured out my mistake. One the very first fold, I folded it the wrong way. You are supposed to end up with a long skinny rectangle with the first fold. I ended up with a short fat rectangle. I've got it right now, though.

Thanks for the cute folded card! I can't wait to make some of these.

Thank you!

Thanks for posting these instructions. I missed your card the first time through, otherwise I probably would have been one of the ones begging for instructions too.
