Pleated Butterfly

I can' figure out how to make a pleated butterfly that "stampandshout" made for one of the Monday Challenges. I know she said she made the top out of a square and the bottom out of a circle that was pleated, but it's not working. Any help would be soooo appreciated. Maybe I'm challenged with doing pleats. I can't seem to figure out to adhere the flowers either. Looked a the tutorial but how in the hang does one get such a small opening in the center?

Yep, I have and she did reply but it's still not clicking with me. I've sent for a little "extra" help so we'll see. I thought maybe there were a couple of variations out there.
