I am not familiar with this technique (it's gorgeous!) but can't find anything on how to do it. Any help ladies?? Thanks a bunch!

That card is gorgeous! I think I saw the technique on the hero arts website a couple of months back. Can't help you any more than that. Maybe PM heartart and ask her!

Sorry I didnt get right back to you, but in my defense I only posted that card a few days ago, lol! I've been trying to rack my brain as to where I saw this technique posted but I'm still at a loss so I'll give you the lowdown myself.

What I did was take a piece of white cardstock and lightly washed it with 2 colors of pink from our WWcrayons. I always use a paintbrush with the crayons BTW, I think you get a much better look. I let the card stock dry completely and then I stamped the flowers onto the CS with versamark and clear embossed them. I them went back and watercolored the paper with deeper tones of pink and burgundy, making sure to get inbetween the petals well. I even let some watermarks drop on the page for a nice washed effect. I dabbed the area covered by embossing a bit with a paper towel to remove the pooled up water and then I covered the cs with a sheet of copy paper and ironed the whole piece. This removes most of the embossing onto the scrap paper...you should move the paper and iron multiple time to get the most removed. Then I mounted the CS and embellished it as desired. I hope this helps you understand the techinigue somewhat and if I ever run across where I first got it from I'll be sure to post it here!!

No defending needed! I figured you just hadn't got to it, so thought maybe someone else would be familiar with the tech. Thanks so much for sharing it...Now I know why it's so beautiful, all those steps!! This would be a great tutorial to share on a Wednesday...maybe you could do it? (give Beate a day off!). Thanks again~
