Has anyone been able to figure out how to make these triangle shaped boxes?

I think it might be the Hershey Kiss Box. I will try to attach the file I have with the pattern in it. If it doesn't work then it can be found at this website: http://www.jersgirl.com/templates/index.html
|
That pattern comes out so small...is there any way to enlarge it or is there one available that is larger? Does that look like the size of the triangle box that is on that page I linked above? Any ideas?
|
I printed the box pattern out from the website then enlarged it 150% and it works for me. I guess you will just have to experiment to see what meets your needs. Have fun!
|
Did you enlarge it to 150% on your computer program or did you use a photocopier to enlarge?
|
I printed it out from the website. Then I took that print and put it on my scanner/copier and enlarged it to 150%. So I guess you could say I used a copier.

great idea..thanks!

The previous directions don't look like the pattern posted. I went to a party and was given these directions for the ones shown in the link:
Triangle box: 4" x 8" cardstock, scorelines in the middle (like folding the cardstock in half using the 8" side so it comes to 4") and from center point to adjacent center point score again, so it likes a diamond when done with these scores), all the way around (five scorelines all together). Then fold the tabs under and fold in half to form box. Thanks, Cheri |
HI Everyone,
The last post is correct...this was a project that we all did at leadership..your customers will LOVE it..you can do it anyway to relate to the approriate season!!! ENJOY...it's so easy!!! Karen |
I am not getting these instructions. Can someone try to explain them again. I can't visualize where I am to score.
Thanks, #1mumm |
Me neither......a picture of it would be great to see.
|
Has anybody figured this out yet? I guess I really need a picture of the actual scorelines. ANY help would be appreciated. Thanks! :?

This is great, thanks for the template !!! :)

the template is great but I would really like the directions to cut and score. It is easy to show others that way. Has anyone figured out those directions yet that were posted earlier? I have tried but no luck yet.
Thanks |

I can completely relate to needing to see this, I am TOTALLY a visual person, (but that sure helps when creating cards). Here is a quick template I made up, hope it helps!
1. 4x8 cardstock 2. stamp as desired 3. score on dotted lines 4. fold centre score 5. fold flap A & B together 6. fold flap C & D together 7. punch hole in top of A/B flap and in C/D flap 8. string ribbon through holes, and tie [/img] |

Okay, I will be the first to admit that I'm not the brightest person but someone please help! I do not follow the directions that were given and now after reading the last post I'm really clueless!!!! Could someone please tell me what to do. I can follow that I need to start out with a piece of CS 4" x 8", then do I fold it in half to make it a 4" x 4" square then what? Thanks for helping and I'm sure I'm not alone on this one.

Guess it is better to understand things when you are logged on. Now I see what they are talking about when they say score lines. Gee, do I feel silly! I think I finally get it -- I'm not sure if when I fold the 4" x 8" diamond shape in half if I'm to overlap the flaps or not? If so they aren't lining up for a smooth edge. Is this right?

Can I get a picture/drawing of the folds? thanks =0)
|
Ok, I'm signed in but cannot see the thumbnails. Why is that?
|
Try this link. There is a drawing of what your cardstock with fold lines should look like!!!

Below is a Word file I made using directions from someone here on SCS...Sadly, though, I don't know who to give props to because I didn't think that far ahead! They are really easy to make, and the pictures included make it much easier to understand!

Got them - thank you all very much. =0)
