On the tumbled marble tiles I use Stazon Ink. I don't seal or anything with this.

And they are fine.

Hope this helps,
Cyndi

Just stamp with stazon. Wait for it to dry. Then colour with pencil crayons (haven't tried crayons). You can also colour with Sharpies. If you used Sharpies you're done. If you used pencil crayons, spray with a sealer for tiles (from the hardware store).

If we are talking about the same thing then there is some info in the SU Aug/05 stampin success. I have made one in a workshop before and we just used black staz on. We were advised to seal them but I never did. Maybe you would have to if you were colouring the image.

tiles...

I always stamp with Stazon ink. I color with Galaxy Markers or Fabrico markers. If I do those I don't seal the tiles. If I use chalks I do use the matte finish Krylon Fixative spray. I have never personally used colored pencils on the tiles. I have also never tried watercoloring.

My friend Dini makes gorgeous tiles. Here is the link/address for her gallery:

Most of her stuff is Biblical Impressions but you will get ideas galore. Just scroll down to the album marked "Tiles". If you have any questions for her I can pass them along. She is in Indonesia as a missionary right now.
