Default how do you stamp on a christmas ornament

I have seen a couple of christmas ornaments, and wondered how the heck do you do this.Since most of them are rounded.it would be impossible to stamp an image on this since it's not flat.Even if you stamp on a piece of paper then apply it it will wrinkle.

So if anyone out there knows how to do this please let me know. Thanks

Default Christmas ornaments

Well, I am certainly no expert, but I have been doing ALOT of reading about these ornaments. You stamp your image on a piece of transparency (acetate) and cut it out. Make sure to leave a tab at the top of your cut piece, so you can keep it attached to the top of the ornament hanger (the metal thing) Oh, you have to use StazOn for the ink. Color in with sharpies (permanent ink) After it dries, roll it up, stuff it into the ornament, and attach that tab to the hanger. It should unroll in the ornament so you can see the image. Then decorate the top. Good luck to you! I hope I can actually make one myself as easily as I have described!

You can stamp onto a glass ornament by carefully "rolling" the stamp across the surface. I know several folks that artfully do this! Well, I can't! So, I do the acetate thing as decribed above AND this year I found clear SQUARE glass ornaments at Michaels! I am scheduled to play with them next Friday when I get together with my stamping buddy. I will be using Stazon and Deco pens.

Default RE- ORNAMENT

o.k. sounds easy enough I guess. But by rolling it won't it wrinkle it.and how do you adhere it to the inside once inside the ball.won't it move around. How do you get it to look like it's right up against the glass.not 100% clear on this.

I punch a small hole in the top of mine and attach with fishing line!! Then bring the line up to the top of the ball and then put the top of the ornament back on, and then cut the line off where nobody can see it and you got it "hung" in there!
