TEMPLATE FOR PROJECT
I ONCE SEEN A PROJECT THAT WAS REALLY COOL. I DONT KNOW HOW TO REALLY DESCRIBE IT. IT REMINDED ME OF A OLD CIRCLE COIN PURSE. LIKE THE KIND YOU SQUEEZE AND IT OPENS UP. IT HAS FOLDS ALL THE WAY AROUND THE TOP AND WHEN YOU SQUEEZE IT YOU CAN SEE IN THE INSIDE. THE PROJECT I SEEN WAS DONE WITH THE SET CALLED BABY FIRST. MY BEST FRIEND IS EXPECTING AND I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE NICE TO MAKE SOME UP WITH THE NEW BABYS PICTURE INSIDE. THANKS SO MUCH.

I found what you are looking for in an origami book that I have: "The Origami Handbook," by Rick Beech. The model is called Pinwheel and Puzzle Purse (pages 166 to 168). First you fold the pinwheel according to the instructions, then with a few more folds you get the coin purse that opens up into a box shape. You could put the photo in the bottom of the box.
I could not find any version of this online, possibly due to copyright issues. You may be able to find this book in your local library. I think it's out of print, but Rick Beech's current book, "Origami : The Complete Practical Guide to the Ancient Art of Paperfolding" does have this fold in it, and it is available from Amazon.com. Or try searching the internet for various origami websites. Hope this helps, Cyndie |
Just meant to enlighten, not to offend!--typing in all caps is considered "shouting" in netspeak as it is hard on the eyes to read. :)
