Default Techniques using markers

Hi!

I am looking for some cool techniques using markers. I've done stained glass, water coloring and Lumiere any other suggestions? Thanks

I shoulda looked on my computer. Here's a list I that I had:

These versatile markers are a must have for your stamping projects. Once you start using these markers, you find a use for them everywhere! Our markers come in all 48 of our exclusive colors, which match our cardstock, inks and chalks. You'll never have to worry about color coordinating your colored-in images again when you start using our Stampin' Write Markers. These markers can be bought individually, as a set of 12 (choose one of our 4 color groups) or as a set of 48. When you buy as a set of 12, it's like paying for the price of 10 markers and getting 2 free. When you buy as a set of 48, it's like paying for the price of 40 markers and getting 8 free. Call or email me for more details on how to purchase these awesome markers!

10 Uses for Markers

1. Markers work terrific with the blender pens. Use markers instead of watercolor pencils. Stamp image in black. Outline the inside of your image with the markers and use the blender pens to pull the colors around. Or touch the tip of the blender pen to the tip of the brush end and color with that. This gives a lighter version of the color. This technique looks more subtle than coloring the whole thing with the marker.

2. Get a terrific watercolor look with markers by going back over lines with a wet paintbrush. Or try coloring on the shiny side of a CD until you get a little puddle of ink. Use a damp watercolor brush and paint your black stamped image. Looks like you used watercolors to paint it.

3. Markers allow you to omit a part of the stamp. Just use them to ink up the part of the image you want to see stamped.

4. You can match the marker color with a paper color without having to purchase the matching stamp pad separately.

5. You can color in a stamp with multiple marker colo rs, huff, and stamp.

6. Use your foam brayer with markers for an interesting look. You can make some great tortoise shell, leopard or gemstone looks on glossy card stock.

7. You can have a lot of fun with the air gun and markers. This gives a splatter look.

8. When you emboss on vellum and then color in the design on the back of the vellum using markers, it looks like stained glass!

9. Markers are great for coloring on Glossy cardstock.

10. Ink up in a lighter color and use a darker, same tone marker to "shade" on the rubber before stamping.
