Make sure you read her credits on this one. Robin shared this technique with the Technique Junkie subscribers a little over a year ago. Check out the newsletter at www.patstamps.com. Tell them Ann Clack sent you!

Response to Frog in a Blender

Hi...my name is Rockin Robin Caldwell and I am "mom" to Frog in a Blender. Yup..it is kind of messy, but well worth the effort. I have made some stellar BG's using this technique. If any of you subscribe to the Technique Junkie newsletter, it was published in the October 2006 edition. So, it has been around that long. Check out the link to Brenda's Blog...she has a good tutorial there, and I have added some comments as well. Give it a try, it would make a great challenge!!! But then again, I am a little prejudiced when it comes to FIB!!! Hisses, Rockin Robin

Nope...glossy CS doesn't work as well as the really, really cheap..plain old white matte CS. The stuff that I get from Wal Mart works really well with the frog in a blender techie!!! Hisses, Rockin Robi

Hey Robin! All settled now in your new house? ;-)

Frog In a Blender

Hi Ann,
Nice to hear from you. We have been in since the last week of June. It seems everything else took precedence, so the stamping pit is just barely operational. Still have stuff in boxes, but I do a little bit every couple of days. I thought I had my desk and storage set up, but have found recently that it is not working for me and need to rearrange everything. Still using extension cords for power source along with inadequate lighting. I just don't have $1400 to get the "juice" that I need. And, I need to have a utility sink put in as well. After all, I have been known to start smallish fires in the name of art (2 actually). I always have a bucket of water nearby. Hope to get it done this winter. Hisses, Rockin Robin

Oh brother.....I hit reply on my e-mail notification and typed a reply that probably went to the SCS mods. Oh My!! Fires, huh? I've only done it once with the burnt edges technique. Wish I had a sink in my hole but no such luck....ever!
