Default Marbled pastels

I was wondering if anyone could help me? I saw a card made with a technique called marbled pastels, I haven't heard of it and was wondering if some has and if they could share with me how it is done. Thanks so much

Hi,

What you do it take a small plastic tub (disposable kind about the size of a sandwich) add about an inch of water to it. Then hold your chalk over the top of the water and scrape some into the tub. do this with several colors and then swirl it with a fork or tooth pick. Once it has been swirled (don't mix LOL) you lay a peice of cardstock on top of the water and let the chalk stick to it. Peel it off the water and let dry. You can put it under a book to flatten it if it curls when wet.

Have fun!

Thank you so much, I'm going to try it. I didn't think it would be that easy. It looks so pretty done on cards I have seen. This web site is awsome, thanks again.

LOL - Sorry I wasn't around long enough yesterday to see this question!!

You know, I've never done this technique so thanks for the instructions Deb!! I've done the shaving cream background which gives a similar look. I hope you'll post some samples when you try this!!

Mary

good idea Mary - posting a sample. to do this you can just create a new post and attach the file - it'll show up inline as part of your post - very cool!
