Super Simple Technique ?

Looking for a border technique I saw somewhere in my internet travels, but I just can't remember where I saw it or what it was called.

I've only seen it on square or rectangle backgrounds. it's just a small notch at the top and the bottom of card stock. then a thread or floss is run through the notches. It's used as a "frame."

Hope that makes sense.

TIA!

I can "see" what you are talking about, I think! If I am correct, SU used to have a corner punch that created a notch. You could then use thread or floss. Just checked a 20-03 catalog - the punch was called the Southwest Corner punch.

Here is one sample from a search for Southwest corner that combines the frame with a spirelli design.

A version of that punch is made by Marvy. I got mine from Frantic Stamper - see the very bottom row on the page this link takes you to: Marvy Uchida punches

I'm sure you could make a noth with an 1/16 inch paper punch. Make yourself a little template and just lay that in the corner to mark where you wanna punch.

I love this idea, and thanks for posting the links to the beautiful card and to Marvy.
