Question Walnut Ink - How to's

Ok, here is the problem, I have walnut ink and would love to use it. It is in a spray bottle but every time I spray it on paper it makes a big blob mess with little speckles around. I want to use it to darken the edges and antique card stock and chip board. HELP me please. Thanks in advance.

Mary Margaret,

A couple of things to try...

1) spritz from a larger distance. Hold the bottle 6-12 inches away from your paper and lightly spritz.

2) after your spritz, use a paper towel to wipe off the stain. It will give the paper a nice aged look.

3) use a makeup sponge to rub the stain on instead of spritzing the paper.

Love walnut ink... need to pull mine back out.

Thanks - I thought I was missing something. Wipe it after I spray it, or use a make-up sponge. Thanks again.
