Default How Can I get this SUGARED look on my cards? --please read

Please take at look in the SU gallery at the heart image linked to the G-J section of the gallery.

I am trying to figure out what stamp was used and how the creator of the card made the image look "sugared". Was iridescent ice used or some other medium? When I double-click on the image, I'm taken to the gallery, not the card link.

I'd love to see the entire card as it was originally created. Can anyone help?

Thanks!
Kelli

I don't know what stamp was used, but the technique looks like Dazzling Diamonds Dust found here.

Smile Sugared look

We have used pigment inks to ink a fairly solid stamp... heat emboss with Judkins sticky stuff... pour on crystal glitter and brush excess off. The image is sugared and that is all. Easy, quick and beautiful.
Sorry, no image right now, but will post one soon.

The stamp used is from the set "Let's Celebrate" which was featured in the Occasions Mini Catalog 2008.

I believe this is the card the image was taken from. From the description, the creator used VersaMark ink and Irridescent Ice embossing powder to achieve the look.

No need to be sorry! Until ilinacrouse identified the stamp set used, I had no idea what card the image came from. Once the stamp set was identified, I did a little detective work (searched the "Just Celebrate" gallery) and hunted down the card. Turns out I was wrong about what technique was used to achieve the look the OP was referring to. ;)

Welcome to SCS! Sit back, relax, and enjoy! This is a very helpful community and no question or comment is ever dumb/stupid/silly. :-D

Default Just Celebrate

Thanks, Illinicrouse (sp)....does anyone know if this set is still available? It's amazing how cute a set can look when the index is colored-in so well! Maybe I'll have to get this if it is still available!

No, it is not in the current catalog. You can always go to the Buy/Sell/Trade Forum here and do an ISO (In Search Of) request for the set. You might just find someone who is willing to part with it.
