stamping technique

I need some help. What kind of 'glue' do you use to put paper to one of those ' large glass Beads (kind of like a rock)? They're kind of like a marble but flat. The Glass Bead magnify's the image behind. I know I'm not explaining it very good, and I'm not sure what you call them, but does anyone know what I'm talking about? Signed clueless

I use SU's Crystal Effects. Works like a charm. Dries clear.
I also use CE for attaching a magnet to the back of the bead - let dry for a few hours.
Make wonderful 'fridge magnets.

Thanks for your kind response. I thought that's what you would use, but wasn't sure. I appreicate the confirmation!

Embossing Ink? After Embossing powder?

Hi everyone---ummmm, anyone--

I am trying to use embossing posder for the first time. (I usually hand emboss.)

Directions on the emboss it ink pad:
1. Touch rubber to pad and stamp as usual. ok
2. Sprinkle with our embossing powders. (I have a different brand of opaque
white embossing powder. No info.)
3. Cure with heat craft tool. ok
4. Re-ink with our tinted embossing inks. I DON'T GET THIS PART!!! :)

Will anyone please explain it to me, please? If I'm not here, would you please send it to me. I have such a had time finding the thread I was under a day ago.

Thanks so much!

I think what they're saying there is when your embossing ink pad starts to go dry, use the tinted embossing ink re-inker to re-ink the pad. I don't think they mean to use it on your embossed image. :)

What brand of embossing pad are you using?
I agree with Cat - it's when your pad goes dry.....
I read tha back of my (many) embossing pads and none of them say that. All this said, I know there's an embossing pad with a tint....but haven't used it.

glue question...glossy accents or su crystal effects...also diamond glaze will work. I like glossy accents best. Add a dot of adhesive in the middle of your pebble, lay your pebble over your artwork...move it around so that you have complete and clear coverage of adhesive. attach artwork to whatever finished project you're making with the same adhesive.

embossing question...when you use your pad and it dries out...yes...reink it with a similar reinker...like a tinted if it's tinted or clear if it's clear...if using a versa mark...use versa mark reinker. that's all that means. One thing to remember when embossing...hold the tool about 2" away and move slowly around your image to melt. Once you're melted...stop...or you'll burn your embossing powder and/or paper.

clear

Tacky glue will also dry perfectly clear without any bubbles.
