On the same theme as ilinacrouse's tutorial...I have posted a tutorial on my website for using the Stampamajig to stamp. If you haven't used it, check it out! http://www.catherinepooler.com/?p=457
Is there anyway to get similar stamping results without owning a stamp-a-ma-jig? A lot of my sets are 2-steps but I don't have a SAMJ. Is there anything I can do to use them well until I order one? TIA!

anything that has a right angle and is fairly thick (I'd say at least 1/2") would work. You could use a piece of vellum for the imaging sheet. I've heard of something people using a "tool" made from some stacked legos!
IS THERE A WAY YOU CAN USE THE SAMJ TO MOUNT YOUR STAMPS? I KNOW I SAW IT ONCE AND I THOUGHT IT WAS ON SU SITE BUT NOW CANNOT FIND IT. I THINK IT MAKES 2 STEP STAMPING EASIER WHEN MOUNTED WITH IT. I THINK THAT IS WHAT IT SAID..
Are all stamp-a-ma-jig tools the same? I'm referring to the EK Success purple one v. StampinUp black one v. EK Success "positioner" blue one? Thanks in advance for your help.

Yup, they're all the same basic thing. If you have a coupon & a nearby Mike's/HL/JoAnn's you could be using it *right now*!

I bought a T shaped one, but it was too "thin" and was a bit harder to use, especially with wooden mounted stamps. I got another and thought I'd sell/give the first one away, but I just used it for a project - it has a 0 ruler included in it and helped make things straight. I also used both sheets to align letters in a word better.
