Default Drilling domino's - can I use a regular drill?

I know to clamp it down, but I've read that people use Dremmels. Can I use my regular drill? Also, should I be drilling before or after I paint/embellish? Thanks!

Sure. Why not? Just go slow & careful!
Oh, and I would drill BEFORE putting any work into it. I've heard that doms break fairly easily (during drilling), can't imagine working for hours/days on something GO-JUS that broke! Ack!

My hubby hooked me up with an old school drill press for my stamping room:

I drilled slow, in a little, take it out, let it cool (like 5 - 10 seconds) drill in a little more, take it out. I had no breakage when I started this process. It took about 7 to 8 in and out's to get the hole done. (Also, you'll need to vacuum up the ground domino. Don't blow... what a mess.. have your vacuum handy.

Have fun!

I use a basic Fiskars brand hand powered drill. No problems going through dominos.

Ok with all the energy/obesity talk lately my first thought was "Wha?!?!? They found oil in domino's pizza?"
