Default Making own tags

I know this is probably a no-brainer for most people, but I was wondering how to make bigger tags? I have a sizzix and I can make smaller ones, but is there an easy way to mage a tag using a corner rounder or anything like that? I don't want this to be very complicated because I have to make a bunch of these..tips would be appreciated..thanks

You have a couple of options. SU! has two tag punches (the smaller one is only pictured in the minis right now), as well as an angled corner punch and one that will give the look of those old-style tickets.

I can't remember the name of the company off the top of my head (Marvy? EK Success? not sure), but I think there is also another tag punch out there that gives the nice scalloped top that the die-cut tag sheets from SU! used to have.

SU! has the ticket punch that cuts off the edges of rectangles.

An easy way to make larger tags yourself is to just measure in about 1/4" at the "top" and "sides" of your tag and then using either your paper cutter or a scissors, cut this off. This essentially will make you a tag shape.

I have done this, too. Just use rectangles and cut off the top corners. Be sure to use the corner piece you cut off, as a pattern to cut the other corner off, so it will be even.

If you want to round the bottom corners with a corner rounder, that looks great.

Then punch a hole in the top and you are done. I made a bunch of tags like this for Christmas with the little $1 Christmas stamps from Michaels. I used a little bit of Glitter Glue here and there and they were very cute.
