Default Spinner Card ??

I was wondering what do you use to make your object on a spinner card "spin". I was told to glue to pennys together then glue your image to the penny. Is there something else that could be use besides pennies, just would seem that they are heavy for a card.

What about 2 identical, flat, small buttons? That might work.

I've used pennies on mine. You put 2 stampin' dimensionals stacked on top of each other between the 2 pennies. I think the weight of the pennies helps it spin more smoothly.

Hi there. I am a demo, and at my club last week we made the spinner card. It was really awesome (I need to make just one more and post to my gallery). Anyway, you use two pennies, and SU dimensionals - 2 of them to stick the pennies together (so it goes penny, dimensional, dimensional, penny, then CS with the stamped image.

I had the girls make a spinner card with the frog from Very Punny, the other background to the card was the wheel - spot on. Where the frog spun down I stamped 'hoppy for you'.

I'll try to upload this.

Also made a very pretty spinner card with the big flower from Delight in Life.

HTH

Thanks for the tips. Like the idea of the frog card. I have a card that I want to make for my dad who is 1/2 way done with chemo treatments and we just found the cancer cells are shrinking. So I want to use the mouse from the SU just notes set and stamp him on a card spinning around like he is happy (doing cart wheels). Don't know what I will use for the background though. Hmmm...... I'm going to go check the gallery for spinner cards (love the gallery it always gets my wheels spinning -- no pun intended lol). :p

Thank you for your kind words. It is very hard and I have found that scrapbooking Dylan's pictures has helped me a lot. I am very thankful that I am a picture freak. I have one whole picture album filled of picutres of our little angel even though he was with us for a little over 2 months. I am very thankful for the pictures and the time we were blessed with him. For now we have a dog named Buddy that helps to fill that void in our life (don't take me wrong a dog can never ever ever replace our child but he gives us great company). Hopefully one day we will be blessed with another child.
