Smackin' Acetate question
I want to make sure I am doing this right...
Use a marker & put color(s) on window sheet (overhead transparency) Spritz w/ Water Lay CS on top of watered down color Is that right? I am doing a class and want to make sure I am doing this the right way. Then you just stamp over it? I am using Summer by the Sea. If any of you have a sample or two to share I would appreciate it! Thanks for always helping! |
Chris you got it :) You can also do a search in the gallery for smackin acetate and about 4 pages of samples come up ;)

sounds like you've got it right. After I've inked up my window sheet with markers and spritz I actually take that and smack it to my glossy CS. I've also taken my ink pad and rubbed it all over the window sheet and done the same thing - you just have 1 color instead of multiple colors. With summer by the sea, because I didn't want the people to have color on their faces - I actually prestamped the window sheet with stazon, that way I could see where my colors would be going.

Do you all use glossy CS or confetti white CS?

GLOSSY CS, and be quick to peel off the window sheet after you smack it, if you're busy talking and leave it stay on the glossy for a bit, it will ruin the glossy CS - trust me I've done it! |
