Default How do you cut cardstock on the diagonal?

 I am wondering what is the best way to cut cardstock on the diagonal? I've tried it a couple of ways but I always end up messing it up! Can anyone give me a quickie tutorial or point me in the right direction??

Many thanks!!

Jackie

I'm not sure I understand what you're asking, but if I'm cutting an entire piece of CS on the diagonal, I just use an 18" drafter's ruler (the metal kind with the cork on the back to prevent slippage) and a hobby blade or rotary cutter.

If it's just a small, regular sized piece, I use my Fiskars trimmer, which has interchangeable 'plates' that fit over the cutting surface with diagonal guides. Otherwise I just eyeball it. LOL ;) HTH. Sorry if this isn't the info you're looking for!

Here's a link to the tutorial for photo corners. The picture that goes with step two should be helpful.

Hope this helps and ...
