Shimmering h2o

Hi
I saw a card that listed shimmering h2o as part of the 'recipe'. Can someone tell me what this is / how to do it? Thanks!

I have done this at a Stamp Camp and everyone loved it, although I didn't use water. I got one of those small travel size spray bottles, bought the cheapest non-aresol hair spray and put it in the small spray bottle, them added about 1/4 tsp. of Pearl Ex and shake. Spray on card! That's it! It's beautiful! Some people do use water but I've found if you use water and once it dries some of the Pearl Ex rubs off. The hair spray makes the Pearl Ex stick and dries clear even on the darkest card stock.
Hope this helps. My favorite is the gold and silver.

Hi

The card I saw was in the Close to Nature gallery.

There is another beautiful card made by JanTInk in the Wonderful Wings gallery that uses this technique. It really caught my eye a few weeks ago. She used it for the background. It's a butterfly on dark cs. It has the word peace on it. I don't know how to do a shortcut to it. She also uses future floor wax and pearl x on this card. I've bought the supplies to make it, but haven't had a chance to try it out.

Thanks for Sharing the Technique!

Thx for posting how to do the technique! I have seen the Twinkling H2O's listed in some things and had no idea what to do! TFS!

Twinkling H20's

Twinkling H20's is an actual water based paint with sparkling mica pigments in it (similar to pearl ex pigment). It is manufatured by the same company that does radiant pearls. The benefits are that they dry quickly and they have shimmer that you do not have to seal. And they are Nontoxic and acid free so you can use them in your scrapbooks.... You can get them on the interenet and the least expensive place I have found them is : http://www.stampnmadness.com/radiantpearlsh20.htm . I have ordered from this company and they were SUPER fast on shipping. I love them! :D

Has anyone had the problem of their paper curling up? I've tried a couple of different things, and can't keep it from happening!

I have also used a watercolor brush and diluted Lumiere to accent and highlite. It would probably gumm up the spray bottle though.
