Default Embossing Powder

Can anyone tell me how to avoid getting the extra powder around the stamped area on the card stock? And if it does happen (which it does all the time for me), how can I get it off without removing all of the powder? I find using embossing powder increasingly frustrating.

Invest in the "Embossing Buddy" - it really does reduce the static!! Sometimes a very small paint brush can be effect.

I have also found that if you use a fingernail to "scrape" it off the areas it shouldn't be, that works without leaving a mark.

Have to say, though, the Embossing Buddy works magic...

Smiles!!

If you don't have the embossing buddy yet, try the Swiffer wipes , they work too!

Have a great week. Hugs,

Before I bought the Embossing Buddy, I used a "previously used" dryer sheet - that worked as well.

The main thing is to not get the oil from your hands on the cardstock you are embossing. Otherwise the powder will stick on it and pretty much you will have a hard time getting it off. I love my Embossing Buddy!
