Sharpies on Poly Shrink?

Is that what everyone is using to add color to their polyshrink?

TIA,

Kurstan

I personally use watercolor pencils or pastels. Remember the color gets brighter after it shrinks. It will look pale and then when it shrinks, you have a bright color.

I have had good luck watercoloring an image with my craft pads. The heating dries the ink so you don't have to wait for that.

I use sharpi markers, stazon, and colored pencils.
I didn't know that the water-based inks would work. I'll have to try that.

Thanks for all of the responses! I didn't think you could use chalk... but since you can, I just got the new shimmer chalks from P,Inc.

Just an addition, I also spray mine with Krylon acrylic matte finish or paint Crystal Effects over them so they don't wipe off. They say you are supposed to sand with the blocks first, I don't like too because it leaves lines. I don't use the sanding blocks and it worked out just fine.
