I tried it once, and will never do it again. I didnt' not like the way the cardstock was afterwards. It was sticky and crumbled when touched. Nice look and that was all.

I stamped my image and embossed it. Then you paint the condenced milk where I wanted it. Stipple Butterfly is what I used. Then you use the embossing gun to hold over the milk till it carmalizes. Like I said, it looked nice, but I probably will neve do it again. I had planned on teaching my club the technique, once I tried it, I changed my mind. Hope it works better for you

I have used sweetened condensed milk. Brush it or paint it on where you want it and heat it with your embossing gun.

Other things I have heard about this technique:

It *will* attract ants.

Your dog may eat it (true story, but not mine!)

I have never hear d of this technique- I am not sure I'd want to do it, my dog would eat it. Or with my luck I'd have ants and stuff in my craft room-yuck!

Rubberstampers mag did a tech page on it. Haven't tried it yet. Doesn't sound like much fun and sounds like it could get messy.

kinda looks the same as heated pearls, but w/ the pearls you can do many colors, and it's much less messy i'm sure.

YOu can use lemon juice and get about the same effect.
Just stamp it on the paper and then take you heat gun and watch it change! Will not leave an effect like the condensed milk does
