I'm not sure what RT is referring to, but the Lumiere's I have are the metallic, shimmery paints. I bought them a long time ago for use on dominos, but you can use them for all kinds of things. You can stamp with them like you would regular acrylics. You can use them w/ a foam brush for colorful distressing. I love the pink-gold one and often use a pom pom to lightly dab it over images to give a slight gold shimmer, etc.
Lumiere is sold on page 232 of the catalog... but there is no picture in this year's catalog. It is in last year's book on the same page as the Pearl Ex. I've never heard of Lumieres as metallic paints. I have the Twinkling H2Os from Luminarte...

Thanks to everyone for your replies.
Very special thanks to Linda for posting all those links with all the amazing
examples of Lumiere's uses. And yes, they sure do inspire me too!
Thanks again, everyone!
I love lumiere. I have not used it for much but I love the effect it adds to cards when you are doing "Mother of Pearl" technique. It is absolutely stunning. I have a sample of my first attempt in my gallery, see link below. Happy Stampin!
I've also used it to stamp and stencil on t-shirts and sweatshirts - stunning on black and other dark colors, but beautiful on pastels also. I heat set it after 24 hrs. A couple have been washed numerous times and they're still shimmery!
