Saran Wrap technique?

Hello, I was looking through the gallery and I saw one artist that had tons of beautiful cards. The name was "princessink" well one of the cards was called "watercolored sketches" and in her technique she said she used Saran wrap and Aqua brush. The card was breathtaking! I would really like to know how to do this technique. She had so many beautiful cards!
Thank you for your help.

hi joelyn,

i haven't seen teh cards, but i've tried the saran wrap tech. and it's super easy. Just take some saran wrap and wad it up, ink it up (recommend using darker colors) and blot it on your cs. finish from there.
you can also check out the resources forum.
HTH :)

I've done the "crinkle and pounce" method described by pp, but I've also done this...

Take a piece of saran wrap a little bigger than the piece of cardstock and scribble on it with the markers (or you could smoosh your stamp pads or stampin spots) being careful not to mix the colors. Then I sprayed the saran wrap with water and carefully crumpled. Open it back up, the colors should all be swirled together and lay the cardstock face down on the colors. I used glossy white cardstock and the effect was pretty cool!

Here's one of my cards that used this technique...

Hope this helps!!

Love your sample, musicmarth. I will have to give your idea a try.

The technique is under RESOURSES in the orange bar at the very top of the site. Inbetween forums and contests.

I hope this helps you :)
