Question Future Floor Finish to blend colored pencil?

I know I'm late to the game on the gamsol technique and the variety of mediums that accomplish this watercolor like look...mineral spirits, goo gone, baby oil, etc. My friend and I decided to try out the options this weekend with her Prisma pencils and we tried the goo gone..works well, we didn't have baby oil, but I threw in my bottle of Future that I had and we tried it with the colored pencil as well..and it did a great job blending the color..pretty much like the Goo Gone....has Future been mentioned before as a medium to give a watercolor like effect to colored pencil areas??
I'd really like to read more about it and see what all of the options are....I'm just completely intrigued that everyday household items can be used for such cool stamping techniques and effects
I haven't fully investigated all of the Future possibilities...so fill me in
Melisa ;)

No, I haven't seen mention of Future for that purpose. I know it worked with Orange Glo furniture cleaner; so my guess is that there is a ton of chemicals out there that will break down the pigment to spread. Even the Orange Glo had some warnings on the lablel though. I didn't like the baby oil, as it soaked through the cardstock, and I wondered just how far it could soak after six months on a card. When I tried about 5 variations side by side, my favorite end product was still the one with Gamsol.

This one is not about colored pencils, but it's the closest I could find on SCS. Beate has a tutorial for applying Pearl Ex with Future Floor Finish. Pearl Ex™- Painted Pearls Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
