Hello I was wondering if anyone could tell me about using this technique.

Saran wrap is such a fun technique! You will need a piece of Saran wrap just larger than your cardstock, markers (I use the SU! markers), and a spritzer bottle of water. Lay the Saran wrap flat, and with two or three coordinating marker colors, scribble back and forth with the markers one at a time from lightest to darkest. You don't need to cover the wrap completely with color. Next, take your spritzer bottle and mist the Saran wrap with two or three squirts of water. Fold the Saran wrap into itself and lightly squeeze into a ball. Next, unfold the Saran wrap ink side up on your flat surface. Place your cardstock over the Saran wrap and lightly press the cardstock into the wrap. Lift off cardstock and lay flat to dry. That's all there is to it! Good luck!

Another way to use saran wrap is to just take a piece and crumple it (as little or much as you want) and use it as a stamp by pressing it in to your ink pad. It makes a really cool background!

I have a sample of this technique in my gallery (ilove2stamp2001). The way I did my background was take a piece of saran wrap and crumple it up. Mine usually comes off the roll like that! LOL! Dab it onto three of my Spectrum pad colors and dab onto the cardstock. Then take another piece and do the last two colors of the spectrum pad. I've also done this using single color pads and it's just as stunning. The guests LOVE to see this at workshops too! :)
