Default What kind of paper

do you all use to make plain white envelopes?
I made some 4x4 cards (never again..too hard to find envelopes) and I have to make my own evelopes. White cs seems too heavy and computer paper too light.
Anyone care to share what they use?
thanks

Default envelopes

I use 8.5 x 11 scrapbook paper...I buy a bunch when it is on sale and use that to make envelopes, sometimes they match sometimes they dont but it saves alot of hassle.

I have purchased 4.5 in square envelopes from Amuse. I can't stand spending time on making envelopes!

I have used really heavy computer paper from Target. Just check the pound weight and buy the heaviest one. It has worked well for me. I accidentally bought a much lighter paper last time and was surprised at how thin and light my envies were, so I will definitely check better next time!

It's best to just make your cards 5 1/2 tall x 4 1/4 wide, which is half of an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet. Then you can by A2 envelopes. They fit perfectly.

I use either 28lb or 32lb bond paper to make my envelopes. If I want to use coloured paper to make envelopes I'm stuck with 24lb since that's all I can find around here. Any stationery store like Office Depot or Staples will more than likely have the copier papers in heavier weights that I mentioned.
